CPChem is seeking a motivated Associate Project Manager Intern within our Strategic Execution and Enablement Office (SEE Office) who will be responsible for working with the PMO Manager in defining, maintaining, and implementing project management standards for non-construction projects across the organization. Non-construction projects largely include implementation of new technology, business processes, and culture-related global initiatives that are business-led and impact multiple Business Units (BUs).
Key Responsibilities:
Help reinforce a focus on effective and consistent project management practices. Support the SEE Office team on various projects, gain an understanding of general project management framework/methodology and Agile methodology.
Associate Project Management support activities:
Assist with development and deployment of project management processes, tools, and training.
Assist with development of project plans;
Help to establish priorities, schedules, and deadlines for tasks;
Scheduling meetings and appointments, conducting research, collecting data, compiling reports, and summarizing information;
Assist with administrative duties such as capturing project team meeting minutes and action items;
Assist with development of project status reports and tracking of key metrics;
Partner with change managers to help ensure successful execution and adoption of project deliverables.
