Accounting internships provide opportunities to learn and apply principles to our organization and are utilized to evaluate the candidates’ potential as possible future, full-time employees.
The work will develop interns both technically and professionally and could involve personal interaction with various technology groups and business units.
Assignments will be in Midland, Texas. The length of our internships varies from 10 to 14 weeks based on the project and the Intern’s availability. Job performance will be reviewed periodically throughout and appraised at the end of the internships and a mentor, typically a more senior employee, will be assigned to each intern.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Current level at university: Junior or Senior
- Willing to work directly in Midland, TX
- Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous internships or co-op’s in an energy or natural resources related field
- Ability to use data and database management software
- Ability to develop strong relationships and seek opportunities to collaborate across the organization to achieve business goals
