What we’re looking for
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support our efforts in engaging with insurance companies and ensuring seamless operations for our therapist network. This role will involve assisting with contracting, claims processes, provider onboarding, and ongoing relationship management to enhance operational efficiency and provider satisfaction.
Skills and Fit
- Experience in healthcare business development, insurance operations, or provider network management
- Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
- Ability to develop and implement workflows for accurate and timely claims submissions
- Excellent organizational skills to manage contracts, billing records, and compliance documentation
- Proactive approach to provider engagement—beyond addressing requests, regularly checking in with therapists to ensure satisfaction and success
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills to enhance operational efficiency
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including therapists, payers, and internal stakeholders

About Us
Melo is an early stage digital health startup connecting occupational therapists with patients such as ADHD adults for insurance-covered care. Melo handles insurance credentialing, billing, matching, marketing, and admin—so providers can focus on care delivery and patients can access covered services.
Time commitment
At least half time initially, up to full time.
