Teacher Leadership Internship

Position Overview
Join Voice Up Publishing as a Teacher Leadership Intern, mentoring and coaching emerging student leaders from elementary through high school in discovering and pursuing their purpose. This role focuses on nurturing young leaders while helping them develop meaningful projects that align with their personal missions and values.

Key Responsibilities
– Mentor students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
– Guide students in purpose discovery and exploration
– Facilitate project development aligned with student interests
– Create age-appropriate leadership resources
– Support student-led initiatives
– Participate in weekly Saturday afternoon collaborative sessions with our nationwide team of student leaders
– Document student growth and development
– Build supportive learning communities

Required Qualifications
– Current enrollment in an accredited college or university
– Teaching, mentoring, or coaching experience
– Understanding of youth development stages
– Strong leadership facilitation skills
– Excellence in student engagement
– Ability to work with diverse age groups
– Project guidance experience
– Commitment to youth empowerment

Position Details
– 100% remote position with flexible scheduling
– Part-time commitment (hours adjustable to academic schedule)
– Unpaid position eligible for academic credit (subject to university approval)
– Duration: One academic semester
